Residual Stress-Strain Relationship of Scoria Aggregate Concrete with the Addition of PP Fiber after Fire Exposure

Scoria aggregate concrete (SAC) as new green material has been gradually used in some construction projects for its lightweight and high strength, which can reduce the environmental impact of materials. In this paper, residual mechanical properties intact compressive stress-strain relationships polypropylene (PP) fiber-reinforced after high-temperature exposure at 20, 200, 400, 600, 800 °C were investigated. The failure modes PP specimens effect temperatures on peak stress, secant modulus, strain obtained. results showed that strength heated is significantly reduced when temperature exceeds 400 °C. modulus are higher than those ordinary concrete. with fibers exhibited fewer surface cracks edge bursts under temperatures. equation was established by regression analysis, agreed well experimental results.
